You and Atem were walking for ten minutes in the unknown forest with olive trees and almond trees, till you came across a marble path. You decided to follow it. You didn’t know how much time passed, since the moment you started walking, but the birds, which were chirping happily and the rustling sound of the air passing through the leaves, were reassuring your soul a tad. Also, together with Atem you weren’t afraid and unsure at all.

Many hours had passed and your legs started being sore. You glanced up to the sky. By the sun’s position, you estimated that only one hour remained till night come.

“Atem, what are we going to do now? It will get dark soon”.

Atem stopped his step, looked the front distance, you had to cover to the unknown. Then, he eyed at you.

“Even if we keep walking all night long, I highly doubt we found a settler or someone to help us.” he sighed. “Let’s take a break and camp here”.

When he said that, you walk out from the marble path and headed to the almond tree near you. There you led down under its shade. As Pharaoh watched you doing that, he couldn’t resist and smile escaped his way to his lips. Then, he walked and sat down beside you.

Some minutes of serene silence passed, till you spoke first.

“Do you know what I missed the most?”

“What?” he asked, quirking an eyebrow.

“The chores the head servant had been assigning to me, when I first come to the palace.”

He tried to hold his chuckle with another question.

“Why?”

“For two reasons.” you stated, “First, they are less tiring than unstoppable hiking to somewhere, which is probably not the palace…”

Your comment made the violet eyed king chuckle a little bit.

“…And second, because when I first started doing them, you came across me and told me to help you find Mana, while you two were playing hide and seek. Before meeting you, I doubted about my feelings for you. After that, I was reassured and given strength. Whether you returned my feelings or not…” you made a small pause, “I told myself that, one day, I’m going to tell my feelings to my savior…”

A sympathetic smile formed on his lips and lay down. His face started approaching yours and ended up giving you a small kiss on your cheek, while you were drifting into sleep.

It was past midnight at Egypt and all the high priests and friends of yours were worrying sick about the mysterious incident that happened to you and the young Pharaoh. There wasn’t any glimpse of good news that moment and their attitude was going from bad to worse with every passing minute.
Also, the doctor, who came to examine you, wasn’t able to enlighten the situation. He said your health was stable and you were just sleeping. Since the doctor was able to return you to normal, everyone in the palace started fearing the consequences of losing the young king.

Fortunately, Mana and Therapontas took the responsibility to examine you both, in order to calm the uproar.

Therapontas had his palm near your forehead and a gold glow was being emitted by it. He looked focused, while doing the spell. However, a few minutes later he stopped and disappointedly shook his head.

“I wasn’t able to do anything…” he muttered.

“Don’t say that!” replied Mana, “It was worth the try. We must return them to normal by any means!”

“You’re right. How’s your research going?”

“Not good…” the brunette girl answered and turned her eyes back to her book she was reading.

Mana was trying to find a cure through scrolls with magic spells and potions. She had brought enough of them and put them on the table’s room. Some scrolls were half open and thrown away on the table and some of them on the floor, because they weren’t holding the solution of your situation.

As much as she was reading, she wasn’t able to find something. She was ready to give up, when suddenly…

“Gods!” Therapontas exclaimed surprised.

“What?” Man asked and ran near him.

“Thank gods! I just saw response…” he exhaled happily.

Mana glanced at you and saw you smiling. It was good news, because the only thing that was responding to both of you was your heartbeat.

“(Y/n) is smiling?” she questioned.

“She is probably dreaming.”

“If it’s about a spell, she is probably hallucinating. I might have some scrolls about hallucinations in the library. I’ll bring them!”

With that, Mana dashed out of the room. At the same time, priest Seto entered the room.
The blue-dressed priest starred at him coldly and so the same the young Spartan did.

“Therapontas, I have to make some questions.”
